Past episodes on Bio-channel

Postby curiosity on Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:51 am

I just realized a few weeks ago Dead Famous episodes were aired on Sat. mornings back-to-back.

Are they being shown in order of production, or are they just selected episodes? Something caught my attention this morning, as i watched the Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin investigations.

I honestly didn't watch the series when it originally aired, but am thinking it's definitely worth viewing in the future. Just wondering if anyone knew of a lineup of episodes on Bio.

Thanks for any info!

Welcome to the forum curiosity. You may want to check the Bio Channels web site, I see they do have a few of the Dead Famous shows lined up for viewing. The shows are not shown in order, but seem to be selected.

I will do that..... thanks, Martin.

I had the opportunity to visit Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, Morrison's final resting place. Awe inspiring, I must say. Not a lot of the baloney you here about daylight vandals leaving paraphernalia and litter. Sure, there have been problems in the past, but this is a gigantic cemetery. There are "rues" directing visitors to different sections.

There IS a lot of graffitti on headstones, most in the form of poetry or lyrics from Doors songs. There are actually many artists laid to rest at Pere Lachaise.

The visitors I came across were very respectful, leaving flowers, poetry or rememberances of his spirit.

I remember that feeling of someone (or something) not far behind as we walked up and down the lanes. Nothing eerie or uncomfortable, but almost like there was another visitor trekking behind us.

It was gone when we left the grounds. But the memory will stay with me for years to come.

Experiences like that ultimately directed me to join this forum.

Happy to be here!
