Hi Just like to say, great show always interesting being watching for over 3 yrs now
My Name is Mark Phillips and I have been doing investigations since 1976 must have done over 500 by now seen lots of strange things also helped with a new group here in the uk called haunted realm, fantastic group all fully dedicated and all give 110% sited in south Yorkshire
I Have worked with lee guilbert in Leicester(guildhall and Belgrave hall) for several years spent a lot of time in York in the north of the uk worked with lots of people in my time becomes a way if life after a while helped people from having a cold spots in there house to having a real problem with a poltergeist all can be sorted and not all are paranormal problems,
Here is a list of some of the phenomena reported by the general public to me in the past ,
Though they are typical of haunting reports, it would be an unusual case that involved more than 3 or 4 of them together.
1. ghosts (generally looking like normal people but sometimes seen walking through walls or in period costume)
2 odd sounds: footsteps, bangs, scratching, moans, screams, music, whispering
3 odd sights: flashes of light, shadows, floating lights, things seen in the 'corner' of the eye
4 odd smells: often unpleasant, sometimes sweet
5 odd feelings: A headache, static build-up, cold areas, touches by unseen things
6 object movement: doors, taps and light switches found open/on, objects lost and sometimes recovered, objects falling (e.g. pictures, ornaments)
7 pet reaction to 'unseen' things
people sometimes start to notice other things if the think their house is haunted; orbs in photos; unknown apparent voices recorded (EVP)*
Many groups do vigils in the dark, ie. with the lights turned off. But is there any justification for this?
Ghosts have been reported at all times of day in a variety of levels of illumination. Crucially, however, unlike in Hollywood films apparitions do not glow (with the possible exception of 'radiant boys'). Most witnesses report ghosts as looking and behaving like normal people. It is possible that a ghost could walk right through the middle of a 'lights out' vigil without anyone even noticing it!
I have experienced things when the lights or on and off
When I walk into a building I pick up on the atmosphere then wait for about 10-20 mins to get a proper feel for the place then things just come to mind voices telling me what there is sometimes nothing other times lots you can't just get things to happen to order I wish I could but if you are patient and wait things over time do happen
we are starting a monthly mag which you can get or just visit us at haunted realm . and ask us to forward you one via email

Welcome to the forum Mark.
Orbs? Dust,moisture,insects.
Great point about vigils in the dark.
I saw a figure once, not saying it was paranormal as it could have been a shadow, but it was in the middle of the day. _________________ Dont look back, you may miss the life in front.
