Long Story (too many details), as to why not sooner.
But this time, I actually got it and have 6 mos. to get the actual Practice, Driving Test and License. I thnik I may well be ready to get the actual License in just a couple of months.
I am Very Happy, Excited and Thrilled!

YAY Congratulations!!
Look out world...here we come!! lol
I will always remember the first time i drove off on my own. It was like 20 minutes after i finished my final test....had to drive my grandad to go pick his car from the mechanic (he drove me to the test) and then i took off on my own....the butterflies from excitement and pride...OMG!! lol

Thank You.
Went to the MVD today to pick up the Permit. Well, as luck might have it, I not only did Not pick up the Permit, but Everything I had for ID, I was told, was All Wrong!!! 
I am thinking I may just forfeit my chance to do this, as it has something to do with the Laws to prevent Illegal Aliens from getting Licenses.
They claimed that "they could Not tell Me from an Illegal, even though I had Everything they Required," but yet they needed even MORE!!!
I am FED UP!!! 
I think I would rather get my Permit After All of the Legal Dust has settled and they decide on fairer Laws for those of us Born and Raised USA Citizens! 
On top of it all, I am suffering from Stomach Flu today, so my Mood was Not exactly the Greatest.
I ended up snarling at both the Lady at MVD and my Hubby over All of this. It wasn't their faults, but I just did Not want to be anywhere except for in bed.
So, I have to try a 3rd time on Tuesday, after Memorial Day.
If it does Not go through on Tuesday, I WILL Forfeit my Permit and just REFUSE to Drive - EVER, in Protest of All of the Legal B.S. with the Gov't not being able to tell Me from an Illegal or Terrorist!!!

Well, this time, I will brring a Copy of my I Net Service Statement, a Copy of my Marriage Certificate, All of the other Paperwork that I took in the first time AND My ENTIRE (16 Generations, Traced Lineally), Family History in THIS Country!
That will HAVE to Prove my Citizenship!!!
If it is till Not good enough, Then I WILL Forfeit and Not try to get my License again, because at that point, it will Not be worth going through All of that B.S.
On top of it all, I had to wait nearly 2 hrs., just to see the person that I spoke to!
Oh well.
I am feeling a lot better today. It was a 24 hr. Bug.

I will be going into the Office at Red River instead, as of tomorrow.
Hubby and I placed a call to them and found out it will be only 1/4 of the same headache as what Taos gave us.
They require less stress and less paperwork for the same thing as I have been trying for nearly a week to get at Taos!
