Thanks to the Oscar situation, I've gotten networked in to a whole subculture of people who seem to be reincarnations of people who were alive during the American Civil War. Between that and the fact that I've been developing my mediumistic abilities, I've been in contact with some big names of the era who have loved ones alive today. I don't know how Chris felt about dealing with the dead celebrities he met, but I'm finding it kind of wild. I've only talked to a few so far. Comparing how they are with me as opposed to the image I got from them in the history books is interesting. You get such a one dimensional view of them from the books. One general is jovial, if not downright impish. Another fellow who I thought was a rabid Yankee hater only shows me a very gentle, protective side of his personality. It's even funnier that he sought out this Ohio gal to talk to his loved one.

I want to channel John Brown sometime. I'm sure commuunicating with him would be a trip!
