Things are good here.
We are reorganizing the house and should be ready for guests real soon.
You are Always welcome here at my home, coda. |
Glad to hear all is good with you and thank you for the kind invite. I don't think I'll make it this time round but I love the US and so I will be back again and again in the future (this will be my third, and longest, visit!)
I fly out in 1 & 1/2 days!!! I can't belive it's come around so quickly!!
Just to think that in a few days I'll be checking out the Waley House is VERY exciting

| You'll love it. The Whaley House is one of the few places I've been in where there was activity going on despite the hustle and bustle of tourists filtering through the place. I got my very first unexplained phenomena in a photograph there, so it has a particular soft spot in my heart. =)

Hello all,
Just got back from The Whaley House. In a rush so haven't the time to check out my photographs I took, but I was with my friend and her young son who was most un-impressed that we'd gone round the house and seen nothing. I said I was going to go back round and take some photos now that we'd had a look and he came with me and asked if he could take my photos. The camera was fully charged with brand new batteries...until we went in the theater and they suddenly were empty and the camera turned off. He was SO impressed and I said thank you to whoever was in the room cos it seemed to be enough to satisfy his young eager mind. When we left shortly afterwards and went back to the car I took the batteries out and checked the power check strips on them with him....and the batteries were still fully charged and when put back in the camera it turned on and was as normal
We're off to her other sons basketball game now so I'll have to check the photos I took later
It was well worth the trip from england to get to see that....

Sounds like it was so worth the trip.
Is weird the camera went off when the batteries were fine. It happens a lot in supposed haunted locations. _________________ Dont look back, you may miss the life in front.

I had a similar thing happen with the camera a few days back when I was in Chuck Berry's club, Bluberry Hill, in St Louis when I went to see Ian McLagan and the camera just wouldn't work in the room he was playing in though it'd work everywhere else in the building *sigh*.
Did the ghost tour in memphis which was interesting, though we only had access to one building (and were joined in there, when the owners were talking to our group about their experiences, by Ricky Nelson's twin boys who were dining there!!!)
Been in Columbus for a few days - no ghostly activity to declare - however...I did end up hooking up with a friend of the friend I'm staying with (holiday romance I guess...doubt it'll last beyond my visit) but he looks practically the spitting image of our boy Chris with the only difference being that this guy's a darker shade of blonde and nearer my own age....but it's spooky how alike they look!!!
Will catch up with you guys when I get to Vegas....hope you're all good

I know just a shame he lives thousands of miles away from me as, after spending a couple of nights with him, I really got to liking him a lot *sigh*
In Vegas now. Did the Grand Canyon yesterday which was cool but , on the whole, I'm a bit bored of this town....not much to do that is of interest....HOWEVER, we're going to Oatman today!!! (Oatman was in the Clark Gable/Carole Lombard episode of DF) so that could be fun
Heading back to LA tomorrow for a few days before I go home which will be a whole heap more fun....just wish my 'chris-a-like' from Columbus was with me *sigh*

Juat seen that Chris is filming in LA starting on the last day of my vacation when I'm IN LA!!!
Shame it's a big city and i haven't a clue where he'll be but it's still kinda cool to think i'll be in the same city as him at the same time....

We do grow our boys nice and devastatingly handsome here in Columbus. Just ask Oscar!

Oh indeed....but as I said, this guy looks a lot like Chris which is even better...I wonder if Chris has some Ohio in him in that case

Just finally going through my photos from my vacation and, bar the 'battery' thing at the Whaley House, there's almost nothing to declare....though I wonder if, cos I believe in their existence, that's why i tend not to seemingly get anything on camera (bar one pic i'm not sure about...see below)
though i guess they're not show ponies and just do what they want when they feel like it...i think the battery thing at the Whaley House was more for my friends sons benefit as he was getting annoyed that nothing was happening....
The only shot i'm not sure about is this one which was the last pic i took at the Whaley House....I'm not sure if it's somethign or nothing as there was nothing in front of me that I could see with the naked eye but, as I was leaving the room, I felt the need to turn and take one last shot of the back of the room before the batteries potentially died (as it was indicating they would at the time as previously explained). Cos it had a bit of zoom on at the time i can't tell what, if anything, I've got...and I'm very open to the opinon that i have gotten nothing at all lol

| Unfortunately, photographic anomalies are not my forte, and I'm not getting any hits on it psychically one way or the other. For some reason, I've been able to tune into peoples' past lives fairly easily recently, but general awareness has damped down a little.

That's ok. Like I said, I was quite open to the notion that I'd captured nothing but it's always worth a second opinion.
And as for your awareness being 'damped down', you've been through a big emotional upheaval so it's understandable and I'm sure it'll all un-damp in time...
