during the Stanley event Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson mentioned the need for a sensor that could pick up traces of phantom smells well thanks to Make Magazine someone has built a 'cheap' version of just that. while he wasn't thinking of ghost hunting the sensors you can pick up for it can detect a wide range of smells.

Yeah, I thought there was some device out there that already did that. It would be interesting to try it out at the Whaley House. They have stories of people smelling the phantom odor of old fashioned perfume, and I'll be darned if I didn't smell some while I was there.
